The PDC is a course curriculum diversification , which gives us the opportunity to get a different certificate, more focused on working skills. In this course we are doing many practical things. For example, we have a garden in our own high school in which we grow our own vegetables , such as plants or tomatoes and then we sell them in the street market. We also have a ´co-operative´. It is a real non-profit company , which is based on farming garden produce , doing things by ourselves and even buying things from ceramic or organic products,to be eventually sold in the local market in Alaquas . Our subjects are divided into scientific field (including mathematics , science and physics and chemistry), language field (including Spanish, Valencian , history and ethics) and practical field, which is based on the cultivation of the garden. Apart from these areas, we have English , fine arts, physical education, and computer technology . In addition to these subjects, we also do various activities that help us defend ourselves in the workplace , such as carrying out some vocational training practice , or going to the University of Valencia to explain what PDC consists of.
